I'm planning a customized sound installation in my Honda Civic sedan (F1 limited edition). I've included pictures. As you can see, its got a really big boot, but we are only planning on using half of it.

As i am new to this, i would like to hear your opinion and recommendations. First off, i would like to get a 145 decibel reading (at least)

The guy who is doing the install suggested that i put in 2 x Cerwin Vega Stroker 12". (I did some research on the Stroker, and it seems like a very very good sub)

What would you recommend/suggest?

- What Subwoofers would you recommend if you feel the strokers aren't good enough?
- What Amplifier would you recommend if i decide to put in the 2 Cerwin Vega Stroker 12"?
- Would i need a capacitor?
- What kind of split-system will i need?
- Would i need to change my head-unit? (Currently i have a 7" motorised Tobishi DVD-player)
- Would i need to modify anything on my engine? (I have heard about guys making
changes to their alternators)

And if possible, could you also send me some prices. I've been searching the internet, but can't find any prices on these Strokers. Or any number of a authorised Cerwin Vega dealer

Thanx

well, cerwin vega is a very gud make (check out my blog on my profile in zoopedup)
if ur going for the 12" strokers - they need serious power: 1200rms is no joke!
so be prepared to spend on a good amplifier!
they also need a minimum of 2cu.ft vented (which is fairly big)
u could get the 145 mark if it was in a spl box(but thts not for everyday playing) - quite difficult to get big figures in sedans..
since u'll b running 2 strokers and an amplifier capable of running them, i wud suggest u change ur battery to an Optima Yellow Top.

unfortunately, the strokers are not in the country as yet. prob early next year. cost will be close to the price of the RF T1 12".

hope this helps!
