So driving into work this morning, I'm 2 min from work, along Printers Drive, there is a bakkie in front of me in th distance turning right. I see her pull to turn, but then at the last second she stops dead, I hit her back left corner, my front right is totally wrecked. Glass & bent metal everywhere.

This is the 2nd time round that my poor car has been in something like this. Again, from someone braking suddenly/them hitting a car in front of them. DALS has taken my baby away already. *sob*

She had one of those massive bakkies. So I scratched her bullbar a bit. Thats it! One would swear nothing happened to her car!

On the plus side, I hated that front bumper. I can get a different one now.

Ag, it wasn't completely her fault. I should have waited for her to be completely past before I passed. You just get so used to people when you drive the same road 4 times a day.

Only thing I'm worrying about more, is I've started with the photography full time now & I need to be out there getting work. That courtesy car had better arrive soon soon.

Eish bro, thats not cool. i've never had that before, so i cant really comment, but we wrote off three cars by them running into the back/side of our Colt DoubleCab. and had literally no damage bar some scratches on the bars.

The &^%ing insurance hasn't even passed the claim so it can go to the panel beaters. God only knows how long the panel beaters will still take on top of that.

I am again (lol, like in the other thread) pleased to announce that the SA level of service is now 'amazingly' fast.
The car actually went to the panel beaters this morning. This is lighting quick service guys. Don't blink. I might get my car back before you blinked. :-|

lol, I'm actually getting used to this having no car thing. I must admit, life gets a whole lot less stressful when you don't have to deal with road rage. The biggest thing I have to worry about on the road is making sure my bicycle doesn't get a flat.

I must say, I would have to highly recommend AmoDeus Panel Beaters. They got the car on Monday morning & I just picked it up now. R24K damage fixed. And they have done a VERY nice job too. I am very happy with the level of workmanship they do. I picked up a small problem when I picked up the car & they stopped, dropped & rolled to sort it out on the spot.

I'm a happy camper again.

Now to get the kit sorted. Again. Someone throw Miggs with a shoe or something pls.
