hi i have a problem my car dont want 2 start in early mornings i took it to a mechanic and he told me cause there is no compresion on my motor!!!

can any one assist me.

0:1 Compression ratio FTW! I hear a low compression ratio is good for turbo'ing. Gooi a turbo on there ese, will give lots of compression.

Engine Overhaul..
replace pistons (not only rings)
have head done, new valves, valve guides, alles..
your problem sorted.

if your conrods are fine.. and your block is fine..
then all u need to have done is the block needs to be Honed.

then it's all good..

U might need a rebore, if the motor has done loads of milage... not just a honing of the bores.

U more than likely have worn rings or maybe even broken rings (easy to tell if there is white smoke them more than likely your problem) , so it's not sealing against the bore on the compression stroke.

I'm with Piper on this one if you going to open up the motor to change the rings, u might as well rebuild the whole bottom end.

Rebore, Machine the crank and balance all components, new pistons (I mean VW pistsons are so cheap) , rings bearing, water pump, oil pump

Doing all this and u will have a motor that if done properly will run strong for another 100 000km at least.

Thanx 4 the info buddy, but all the above will be done then i know i have a complete new engine,
NB:We can i get a second hand brachers 4 my car any suggestions!!!

save up the 4 grand or whatever and just change the motor

if your car has a cast iron manifold you could port it
