When I was working in the US we did quite a few MR2's.
To be honest, its one of the hardest cars ive ever tried to drift, especialy to try get out of the corner and not loop it,
First thing your going to want to do is get coil overs and a LSD, then its practice, but be warned, DO NOT try your drifting around anything you could hit because the MR2's go great then just loose it and once uve lost the tail to far there is nothing to get it back, I would say its on average 200-300% harder to drift a MR2 than it is a 200SX.
There are a few tricks you can do to make it a bit more drift-able but it buggers up your ability to use it for anything else.
The biggest problem is that all your weight is in the rear, so if your like me which prefers to power over drift you find the ass is so heavy that when it comes out it just slides with all that momentum and its hard to get it to sit and the angle you want it to.
Hope that makes sence.
Tell u what though, they make damm fine drag cars

those 3s's have some serious potential
