Been using iBurst for over two months.. its been rock solid

I will definatly recommend - However, get a signal test done in your area.. If you have a strong signal your good to go

Does iBurst come uncapped? Is there that option?

Don't like their service ,they block port 25 on outgoing mail....

Also have the Burst and loving it! much faster browsing than ADSL, and very stable!

yes, they only allow smtp to http://wbs.co.za for sending mail.

and no, no uncapped options... sad.gif

dissapointing its not really any cheaper than adsl.

Ah but there is the hidden benefit of not dealing with telscum and depriving them of some ill gotten gains.

Ive cancelled my iBurst for now

I moved to Gordons Bay were signal was poor, I even got the antenna on the roof.

Moral of the story dont get iBurst unless you have FULL signal

4/5 or 3/5 wont do.. the line drops to much

DSL is the best bet - But I refuse to deal with Telkom

I have uncapped 24-7wireless.co.za now

Yeah make sure you got good coverage in your area...wasnt bad when i was using it, but anything connecting under 50-60% wouldnt connect to msn...dont do the 24 month contract either, no way of getting out of that if u want to leave! Pay it full or carry on sad.gif

Id say go for month to month and pay the R2k+ for modem upfront. The cool thing is any unused cap you have goes on to next month and does this for 3 months...

ADSL - best in my opinion. But theres a new phone company out now isnt there? N something? So will be interesting what telkom does...im paying R150 for 2 gigs a month, not bad at all.
